First off, forgive me for the silence. If you knew how crazy, chaotic, and overwhelming life has been over here you would know how hard it is to find the time to sit down, breath, and write a blog post.
Life has finally started to be more routine (please don't let me be jinxed for saying that), so here I am - taking a breather with coffee in hand. As you probably already know by now, Austin and I have moved to Nashville, Tennessee for a job offer Austin took. However, while we did live in Nashville for a short time, we are currently in Franklin. Which is such a great small town only 20(ish) minutes from the city.
Anyway, I am so excited to be back with my Pearls & Perks friends! To rewind a little, I want to spend a little time sharing with you what has been going on, some highlights from Arizona and our time so far in Nashville. After that, I hope to get back into creating more of the content that I love and promised when starting this blog!
I loved my time in Arizona, not as much when I was there (115 degree heat just wasn't my cup of tea) but looking back now, especially as it's getting cold, I kind of want my time back! As far as getting out and exploring, we didn't get to hike as much as we wanted, but we had so much fun the times that we did!
I literally felt like I could see on f.o.r.e.v.e.r!

My aunt lives in California so we made a very last minute decision to drive to Los Angeles when I found out my parents were flying out there for the weekend. This was so unlike us (I am a total planner and very rarely do spontaneous things).
We stopped in Palm Springs and spent the first half of the day there. If you are ever there for a visit you have to go into the little shop Just Fabulous! It has the CUTEST things! Grab a drink at Koffi right next door and go browse the store. You won't regret it, I promise!
My aunt Jessie, myself, and my mom at the hotel in LA ready to go to dinner.
Our view at dinner! This trip was such a teaser because we left early, early in the morning and came home that same night. Austin had only that day off so I had to make the best of what I could get.

Our one year anniversary was August 2nd, so we took a mini road trip to Sedona, onto Flagstaff and ending at the Grand Canyon. Again, we only had one day to fit all of this in! I love to look up the best places to go to on trips like this so if you need a travel guide when visiting these towns, let me know and I will point you in the right direction ;).
This looks like it's during the day, but we got there right at sunset (which is what we planned for) and it was beautiful!
It looked like a picture, even in person! Breath taking!
